Founded in 2003 in Tripoli, Al Sahel Al Akhdar for Mills and Feed is Libya’s leading manufacturer and supplier of animal feed, controlling around 45% of the national market, and commanding a growing presence in regional African markets.
With Libya’s food security/safety our utmost priority made real by our national presence and state-of-the-art production facilities, coupled with our growing portfolio of international-caliber products targeting the nutrition needs of a wide range of livestock, today we have become the standard-bearer farmers in Libya have come to depend on.

Al Sahel Al Akhdar Factories
In line with our desire to contribute to Libya’s food security, our factories are strategically distributed throughout Libya based on regional environmental and climatic conditions impacting our farmer consumer’s needs:
Western Region Factories:
Our first factory, and producing various feed types, Al-Hashan has a production capacity of 20 tons per hour and an annual production capacity of 126,000 tons.
State-of-the-art, and producing various feed types, Al-Sayeh Feed Factory has a production capacity of 50 tons per hour and an annual production capacity of 315,000 tons.
Producing various feed types, Khair Qasr Feed Factory has a production capacity of 7 tons per hour, and an annual production capacity of approximately 44,100 tons.
Varied in feed type capabilities, Sorman Feed Factory has a production capacity of 10 tons per hour, and an annual production capacity of 63,000 tons.
Specialized to produce various fodder feeds, our General Fodder Factory has a production capacity of 10 tons per hour and an annual production capacity of 63,000 tons.
Eastern Region Factories
State-of-the-art, and producing various feed types, our Benghazi Feed Factory has a production capacity of 40 tons per hour, and an annual production capacity of 252,000 tons.
